For customers
Posting is free. Sign in, save a draft, add photos, and review it before publishing. Compare each offer’s scope, price, schedule, exclusions, and payment terms. An assessment offer buys an assessment only.
Accepting an offer saves the agreement and creates a job in the selected shop’s workspace. It does not charge a card, hold funds, or book a calendar appointment. Arrange the visit and payment directly with the welder.
For welders
Prepare quotes using your own material prices, labor rates, overhead, and equipment assumptions. AI can assist with a draft when connected; a person must review measurements, quantities, costs, and scope before issuing a firm offer. The three-day trial is 72 hours, requires no card, and does not automatically charge. Paid membership is $100 per month when activated.
Membership does not guarantee work, customer payment, profitability, or exclusive leads. Sponsored placements are labeled and do not change estimating calculations.
Who sees your information
Your project title, general location, description, and reviewed photos are available to eligible marketplace users. Put phone numbers, email, and the exact address only in the private contact fields; those are shared with the selected shop after you accept its offer. Camera location metadata is removed from marketplace photos.
Shop costs, inventory values, estimate calculations, and receipts stay within authorized shop access. Employees see assigned work and the information needed to record activity; owners control costs and approvals. Customer-facing offers exclude your private cost and margin breakdown.
AI analysis sends only the selected estimate information and photos to OpenAI after your consent. Card details are entered into Square’s secure fields when payments are enabled. Find Trade Help stores billing references and status, not full card numbers.
Trust and problem reporting
Shop descriptions are self-reported. Membership is not a credential, insurance, background, or quality check. Agree on the qualifications, inspections, permits, change process, and payment terms relevant to your project.
Use Report on a project or club post to flag misuse. Before work is awarded, customers can close a request. After acceptance, arrange changes or cancellation directly with the other party.
